Born in Mexico, Esthela married and moved to Texas in 1978. She has a daughter and a son. Esthela worked at Computer Language Research, in Carrollton, TX a computerized tax return corporation from 1982 to 1992. She then moved to Corinth in 1996 and worked for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) from 1996 to 1998. She received her Real Estate license in 1999. Esthela began working with the City of Denton and Denton Affordable Corporation through their first time home buyer assistance programs, foreclosures, short sales, bank owned and HUD.
